George Baker (1931–1997) was an American sculptor and longtime Professor of Fine Arts at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Working primarily in bronze and steel, he built a reputation over four decades for kinetic works that move mechanically, with wind, or on water, executing large-scale commissions across the United States, Japan, and Germany. His sculptures are held in numerous public and private collections.
