Haas Mojave Palm Candle

The Haas Brothers Mojave Palm Candle, produced in collaboration with L’Objet, is as much a sculptural object as it is a fragrance.

The vessel is fine porcelain, hand-poured with paraffin wax and a single wick. Its matte white surface carries a deeply carved relief: a palm tree, saguaro cactus, rippling sand dunes, and a small gilded creature accented in 24k gold. As the wax burns, light radiates through the porcelain walls, bringing the scene to life as a softly glowing desert landscape.

The Mojave Palm fragrance was developed with perfumer Yann Vasnier. Top notes of papyrus, immortelle, bay laurel, and coriander open into heart notes of juniper, cypress, cinnamon, and Atlas cedar. The base settles into guaiac wood, patchouli, fir balsam, frankincense, and cistus. Dry, woodsy, and unmistakably desert.
