A striking pair of silver-plated candlesticks, each cast in the sculptural form of a curling ram’s horn, complete with deeply carved ridged texture that faithfully mimics the natural growth rings of a horn. Each piece terminates in a fitted silver-plated candle cup with a wide drip pan, mounted at the base of the horn’s curl, while the tapering tip rests directly on the surface, with small ball feet providing additional support and stability.

The pair is not mirror-matched but rather designed with horns curling in opposing directions, lending the set an organic, naturalistic asymmetry consistent with the trompe l’oeil animalier style popular in Italian and English decorative silver-plate of the 1970s.
