Rare Frances Elkins Lounge Chairs – Coleman Estate – Pebble Beach 1946

A rare and documented pair of lounge chairs by legendary designer Frances Elkins, created circa 1946 for the Pebble Beach estate of George L. Coleman Jr. These striking chairs reflect Elkins’ iconic design vocabulary—an elegant fusion of neoclassical form and modern restraint. Featuring crisply sculpted frames painted white and dramatic scroll arms, the chairs are newly upholstered in vibrant red with white button tufting, a nod to the original Coleman interiors.
