The Nile Chair – Dragonette Private Label

The Nile Chair is part of the Dragonette Private Label classic chairs series, designed by Patrick Dragonette and inspired by Marc Du Plantier’s iconic Egyptian chair of the 1930s.

The frame is custom fabricated in clear Lucite. The transparency of the material gives the piece a lightness that contrasts beautifully with the upholstery. The seat and back feature bold channel tufting in a shimmery dark brown leather. The rolling, tubular bolsters stack horizontally across the back and seat, creating a strong graphic rhythm. A small sterling silver “D” medallion is set into the back of the chair as a signature detail.
