Titia Table Lamp – Dragonette Private Label

The Titia Table Lamp is a singular collaboration between Dragonette Private Label and Los Angeles ceramicist Titia Estes.

The vessel is entirely hand built using a basalt-like clay fired to a vitrified state. The result is a dark, textural surface that reads like charred wood. Projecting angular forms radiate outward from the column in a rhythmic, almost geological pattern. The body sits on a gold-leafed base with a matching cap, grounding the raw ceramic in warmth and refinement. A black silk shade overlaid with a multi-thread casement fabric and threads of silver lurex tops the lamp. Solid brass hardware completes the piece.

Titia Estes works from her studio in Los Angeles, where she has spent over 15 years creating sculptural ceramic vessels. Her work draws on geometric forms found in nature and the visual language of the built environment. She is represented in galleries and design stores across the U.S. and teaches hand-building workshops throughout the Los Angeles area.
